Moving on up is moving on up!

I made an extra $68.50 this weekend by working for my boyfriends company. I assemble parts and do a little accounting for him after work so I make a bit of extra money. My goal was to make $45 extra a month and I made $105 total! I will put the $68.50 in my car maintenance account when I get a check this week. I also filled out a Pinecone Research survey for $3 last week, but it usually takes a few weeks to get my check. It will be in October.

I took my cat to the vet this week because he was spraying in the house. The visit cost $80. $30 for the exam and $50 for a urine analysis to make sure he didn't have an infection. Ouch! I took the money out of my e-fund so my savings is looking a little sad. The good news is that he hasn't sprayed in the house for 5 days! Woo hoo! Apparently cats don't like having the little roof on their cat boxes. I would never have thought of that. My vet is a saint!

Besides the expensive trip to the vet (is there ever a cheap trip to the vet?), I haven't spent much money. I haven't purchased groceries in about 2 weeks. I've relied on the veggies I have had in the garden and some apples and lettuce I bought a while ago. I think I'm going to have to get some staples in the next few days.

I don't think I've had many "no spend" days. I haven't kept track, although I think I'm at about 5.
