Assets down, but so it debt.

I cleared out my itty bitty savings account - all, but $100 and paid toward my credit card. I just can't wait to pay the damn thing off! I'm down to $804.00 by tomorrow's online payment. I'm dreaming of being able to really save for a car, increase retirement, paying off a personal debt, and save for a couch! I'm going to put a little drop into each of these buckets so I can have more freedom! It'll be insane not to have to pay a credit card payment; I don't remember what that's like. I started accumulating credit card debt when I was 24. I'm 35 now. IT SOUNDS LIKE HEAVEN! Now if I can just find some more money....
I have a $28 check coming from my second job, $3 pinecone research check, and I should make another $30 from second job if I work my second job over the weekend. Every penny counts.
I think I'm going to try to cook more "beans and rice" sort of dishes so my food budget will go down too. Hmmmm.............. Where else can I save?

Yay! As for cutting down cost, it seems like your on thr right track and every penny does count. Hmmm, when I'm trying to cut costs, I limit how much money I spend on fun things, eat very simply and try to limit how much I drive around. Good luck, your almost there!

You're doing so great!

As for more budget cuts, have you gotten to the bare-bones when it comes to your utilities? See how low you can get your electric bill this month. Just keep your overall expenses as low as you possibly can and you'll reach that milestone in no time!

Good job with that nice straight 45-degree net worth line going up. Your post inspired me, and I linked back to your blog and post today.

You are such a wiz at all this saving. Now if only someone would walk around the supermarket with a ruler to rap on our knuckles. I would love that, if they did it for free. :)
