I had a great weekend with a friend from high school. It's hard to believe we met over 20 years ago. We were so little! Kelly came to visit me from Santa Cruz, California. She has only been to Colorado once so I gave her a tour of the neighborhood. It was fun, but all great visits must come to an end.

After an expensive weekend of going out to sushi, Thai food, etc, it is time to tighten the belt. I have put money on my credit card. I have $24 cash for the rest of the week.

I have $30 in my bank to buy a dress. I have a "gala" to go to for my boyfriends' company. They are receiving an award for up and coming new businesses. What is a gala anyway? I'm not sure exactly except I think I'm supposed to wear a cocktail dress. I'm going to go to Macy's and see if there is anything on clearance.
